The organization firmly believes in the Swami Vivekanand’s message and has continuously worked to serve the most underprivileged of our brothers and sisters. The list of organization’s sewa work is rather long. We are incredibly grateful to have served more than 5,00,000 patients with the OPD at the organization’s vivekanand hospital and mobile van clinic. In addition, more than 50,000 patients were treated in the IPD of the hospital till date. The mobile van clinics serve 125 in the district at nominal costs. Most of the villages are drought stricken and in dire need of medical services. The organization has had an opportunity to serve 9,00,000 people in and around the district over the period of two decades. As a part of the government of Maharashtra’s LINK worker scheme, the organization has tested for HIV-AIDS and provided medical assistance to 50,000 people.
The organization’s skill development program has empowered 1200 students by imparting employable skills through various courses. 150 orphan and destitute children are adopted and provided with assistance for their education every year as part of the organization’s commitment to the cause of education.
During the devastating floods of 2019 that ravaged the district, the organization was at the
forefront of relief work. In the weeks following the floods, the volunteers and the doctors provided medical help to 25,000 people.
